Every day is Autism Awareness at our house.
We struggle on with our Ian. He is such a sweet kid trapped in autism. He is loving, funny, giving and good. He came to me the other day after a bad tantrum and hugged me and said, "Mom, I'm scared." and I asked, "Ian, what are you scared of?" and he answered, "Myself". He is 8 years old.

gotta love those kids! ian's comment was precious and it seems to me that at least he is aware of the tantrums. i'm praying for you, my dear friend!1

Oh, Janine, I just started tearing up reading Ian's comment. That is so much more than an 8 year old should have to handle. My heart goes out to him.
